Home Remedies to Keep Your Nails Shiny
If you have been meaning to get a manicure done but haven't found the time to get it done, don't worry we have found some quick hacks to keep your nails healthy and shiny.
Olive oil- clean your nails thoroughly. Warm a small bowl of water with olive oil and dip your fingers for 15 minutes. Wipe with a clean clean towel and repeat the process daily for best results.
Petroleum jelly- Petroleum jelly can do wonders to restore that shiny look. Simply massage your nails with a good quality petroleum jelly after every bath as well as every time before sleeping. A coat of petroleum jelly prevents your nails from losing their natural moisture and hence makes them look naturally bright.
Lemon juice- mix one tablespoon of baking soda in a small bowl of warm water, add one tablespoon of lemon juice into the mix. Soak your nails for 10 minutes. With the help of a brush, gently scrub your nails and wash clean.
Shea Butter- A coat of shea butter prevents your nails from losing their natural moisture. Hence it makes them look naturally bright. Simply massage your nails with Shea Butter after every bath as well as every time before sleeping.
Gulab Jal- use rose water regularly after cleaning your fingers thoroughly. Rosewater can be used to remove the nail paint as well. Alphavedic's Gulab Jal has antiseptic, antibacterial and antioxidant properties and it acts as a natural moisturiser.
