Sugar scrub- one of the best home remedies to remove dead skin cells is sugar scrub. It acts an amazing exfoliate as well. You can make your own sugar scrub by mixing a cup of sugar granules with a quarter cup of oil of your choice (almond, coconut or olive oil) and a dash of lemon juice. Scrub it for a good 8 to 10 minutes on the stretch marks and rinse. Use this everyday.
Aloe vera- this hydrating plant is packed with nutrients. Aloe vera comes as a blessing for almost all skin problems. The gel is best known for its healing properties. Stretch marks causes itchiness and rashes and scratching the scars can make it worse. Aleo vera gel soothes the skin. For best results mix a few drops of almond oil with a spoonful of aloe gel and rub on the affected area.
Baking soda and lemon- one of the best known exfoliate is baking soda, it helps in removing the dead skin. Lemon on the other hand acts as a bleaching agent and reduces the darkness and makes the makes less visible. All you need a tablespoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of lemon juice and a cling wrap. Mix baking soda and lemon juice and apply it on the affected area and wrap it up for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off. If you have sensitive skin it’s better to do a patch test before hand.
Egg mask- stretch marks are stubborn and might need more than one ingredients to treat them. Mix 2 egg yolks with juice of half lemon, two teaspoon of oats powder and almond paste each. Add milk as required to make a paste. Apply this mask every alternate days to get the best results.
